May 2007 Cinco Cidades Tour
Following our fieldwork and the launch of the Cinco Cidades soundmap, this project culminates with a live tour across Portugal in May 2007.
For these performances, The Folk Songs Project have invited the musicians William Parker, Guillermo Brown and Victor Gama (“The Folk Songs Trio”). In each city, The Folk Songs Project will create an ambient backdrop of sounds and voices from that city, against which the musicians will react, creating an improvised performance unique to each city.
